Cadence the
Leprechaun. After green pancakes for breakfast we thought Cade should be festive before going over to Grandma's house to play with cousins. Brennan wouldn't let me color on his face... so, he wore a green shirt instead.
When the little boys were sleeping Cade and Jarom snuggled together on the couch and read books for an hour and a half. This is a view from the walkway above the living room. Such cute little friends. They played and played all day!
Look at how cute these little friends are. When it was time for us to go home Jarom started crying... he didn't want his friend to leave. I'm so glad they'll be here for two weeks so they can just play and play and play. It's so much fun for Cadence to have a little friend just his size!
Grandma Jo and Aunt Cena dropped in for a visit. They brought the softest blanket ever for EmmaRay, a hand quilted blanket and two adorable onesies. (The blanket on Grandma's lap was made by Merilee- notice the stars all over it!! She made it before we had named EmmaRay Star, isn't that perfect!) They also brought a book for the boys and a set of cars. The cars were very popular for the rest of the afternoon. Cade and Jarom sat together and zoomed cars around. At one point I heard Cade say "Now they're going to the store. It's Walmart. They're going to buy bananas and milk and plums." He's just really getting into pretending and it's so funny what he comes up with.
Here's cousin Ezra zooming cars and being such a big boy standing up! He just barely turned one last week.
