New Suit

Cadence wore a new suit yesterday... complete with suspenders, a tie and a vest. He looked really cute and handsome, but he wouldn't just stand for the camera, so we got the next best thing- riding on a scooter at Grandma's house.
Sorry for the sideways picture, but it wouldn't save the picture upright.... anyway, here is Brennan in his slightly-messy church outfit yesterday. Notice the car in his hand- that's a staple.

Everyone cross your fingers for us, we have some people interested in renting our other house- we're hoping that it will work out!! We're just waiting for their application so we can do a background check.

We got some more good news from my doctor a few days ago-- she says that if I make it to 35 weeks (I'm 34 now) then she might be able to liberate my bed rest a little bit.... meaning I might be able to take care of my own children again and give Mom a break!! I should also be able to not take the terbutylene to stop contractions, for which I would be very grateful- it knocks me out of commission for a full 12 hours because of the side effects. The doctor still thinks we can make it to full term so the baby won't have any problems, but she also says she usually doesn't stop labor after 35 weeks. It would just be so nice to be able to take care of my family again!

We are very grateful for the legacy that President Hinckley left to the world. What a great man he was. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. His whole life and now even his death are an example to the world. We heard a Catholic Bishop last night who called in to the news station to say how much he admired and loved President Hinckley and the great work that he advocated. He said that he enjoyed working so closely with the church, as they are two great Christian religions devoted to families, service and proclaiming Jesus Christ. We thought that was a great comment coming from the Catholic church, especially after all of the negative press against the church lately. A non-member friend of mine sent a message to me this morning- she said that she heard about President Hinckley and she wanted all of her LDS friends to know she was thinking about us. I think the whole world knows what a great man he was.
