Bobcat

We went to Cub Scout's Pack meeting tonight where Cade was awarded his Bobcat.  It's his first rank advancement and he was so excited.  He worked really hard and memorized everything he had to and had me help him with everything else.  He can't wait to do everything for his Wolf  (in fact, he's already done with 5 of the Wolf sections...)

And the other kids loved the activities-- they gave the kids things to do to simulate disabilities and give them compassion for those who have physical problems.  They put a sock and tape on the kids hands and had them write their name, draw a picture and throw a tennis ball.  The next activity was having their knees belted together and going through an obstacle course and kick a ball.  Then they had the kids put on glasses wrapped in several layers of saran wrap and had them try to make a basket.  EmmaRay was hilarious because she would throw the basketball with all her might and it would go up maybe 3 feet and come down right in front of her.  hehehe.
 

Brennan is so anxious to become a Cub Scout.... I think he'll have earned his Wolf right along with Cade before he's even old enough!
