Happy Halloween!

Even though I feel like it's been an incredibly busy October, we've had the chance to have a lot of Fall and Halloween fun already.... and we haven't even gone trick or treating yet today!  We've been to Wheeler Farm, Cornbelly's and the Scarecrow Festival, as well as our church Chili cookoff and trunk or treat, and a semi-kid-friendly haunted house (they lied!!  they said there were just scary scenes, no scary people jumping out at you but someone grabbed my ankle and jumped out and screamed!!).  Here are just a few pictures highlighting our Halloween adventures and cute kids!

Adelynn the Flamingo and Princess EmmaRay
Arrrrrrrrr! Don't ye be stealin' my candy or I'll make ye walk the plank!  (complete with candy-filled treasure box and the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song playing)
 Bandit Brennan and Detective Cade
Trunk - or - Treat party with Crayon cousins... somehow only got Joshua, Elisabeth and Elijah in this picture and missed Samuel and new baby Hyrum.
Superman Mike (you should see his awesome cape!), Witch Angela and our Halloween kids.
 Waiting outside the haunted house...
 Beak-fighting with Daddy!
Adelynn really did not like the idea of posing with Jack Skellington
 It's spooky in here!!!
Even Grandma and Grandpa Rigby joined in the haunted house fun!
 Pumpkin carving!
Brennan chose a warty one.... wow that thing was hard to carve!  We had to use a saw!
EmmaRay liked scooping out all the gunk.
Cade tasted it.  Haha.  We bet the kids a candybar to eat some of the pumpkin slime.  They all did it, even Adelynn.
Adelynn's first reach into her pumpkin-- not quite sure about this Mom.
Hey, it's fun to get all guishy!
 EmmaRay's Halloween Scary Cat
Brennan's spooky face(s) (he calls it the Brennanator)
 Adelynn's Jack-o-Lantern and Cat
 Cade's Scary Face
 Michael's pumpkin is eying you!
Only 5 hours until the witching hour... we wish you all a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween!  Happy Haunting!
